Lynn Sossamon lived in the San Francisco Bay Area until she attended college at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.   She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in American History, minors in Russian History and Political Science, and secondary level teaching credentials.   In 1975, Lynn moved to the Tulsa, Oklahoma area where she presently resides.

Lynn's professional career includes twelve years in a family-owned business, serving as the Director of Development for the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa and Executive Director of Citizen CPR . . .The Critical Link.   Concurrently, she also did outside consulting work before launching her own full-time business, Strategic Solutions, in 1997.   Lynn has more than 25 years of volunteer experience on local and national levels of non-profit organizations, including serving as president of Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation.

Education remains a priority and Lynn has attended courses at the University of Tulsa, including Project Management and the Advanced Management Institute. She has also participated in "Preparing Successful Grant Proposals," and "Managing the Capital Campaign" at The Fund Raising School in The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. Lynn is a Certified Fund Raising Executive and an active member of the Eastern Oklahoma Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
